Ayadinlani laughs again at the creature's words.
"Go! Go and get more! No one escapes! No one!"
She lets out a shrill shriek and continues bashing the mash until it gives. Then she peeps through it and feels around until she finds the limp form of the man those things were lugging around, and she drags it through the hole, tumbling back down into the tunnel below. She pokes the form and searches for a pulse.
"Tell me, little one. Are you alive, or are you dead?"

The man appears most certainly unconscious but not dead.

Ayadinlani smiles.
"Well isn't this your lucky day. Wake up, my pretty."
She prods him some more.

He doesn't wake up. In fact he doesn't move at all. Not a muscle. Doesn't even flinch. Nope.

"Be that way."
Aya flies up and puts the mesh back in place. Then she attempts to hoist the man up a little, enough to drag him along, leaning on her shoulder. She sets off further down the tunnel.

The man makes no sound or move at all and his dead weight is very heavy.
The tunnel is dark and about 8ft wide. Without slope or bend it carries on away from the direction of the one above.

Ayadinlani sighs a little under the weight.
"You know, you might be more trouble than you're worth. But who knows. So how do you look the décor? I like to call it Claustrophobic Catastrophe. Straight from the eleven-hundreds. It is all the rage these days. Retrostyle, you understand."
She drags the man along.
"You fit in perfectly. To your right, you can see the damp wall of the dungeon. To your left, a limp body. Don't step on the plague rats. If you look up now, our resident monster. Please don't feed or flash the monsters."

The limp body... remains limp, oddly enough. The path continues, level and straight though very lumpy and uneven in surface. Her progress is considerably slower with the weight of the man on her shoulder. After what feels like around an hour or so she can start hearing the sound of rushing water in the distance.

"Oh, water. Are you thirsty? I bet you're thirsty. I am."
She happily goes on, body and all.

She continues on for another half an hour, the sound of water getting steadily stronger. The body staying limp however.
Then one of the walls fade away and down to the left is an underground stream. In to it falls more water from above spraying a wet mist over the path which is still safely away from the rushing water.
There is a very distinct foul smell.

"Figures, Cyfi."
Ayadinlani drags the man into the mist and turns his face upwards.
"Wake up. Nice wet water."

The limp body soon becomes a wet limp body. But that is about it.
Back in the direction she came from she picks up the faint and still quite distant sounds approaching. They sound awfully much like those creatures she scared away. Though perhaps more.

Ayadinlani sighs. This isn't helping much. She pushes the body further up the passage, and leaves it there for the moment. She grabs a piece of soap from her backpack and searches a piece of the path that is not too wet, but not too dry either and nice and close to the rushing stream. With some quick swipes, she smears soap over the wet stones, making it much more slippery than it already was. Then she cuts up the rest of the soap in slices and places them here and there on the soaped path. That little trap set, she turns, grabs the limp body and pulls it onwards, looking for a place to hide, or to escape the tunnel.
"It would be awfully considerate of you if you could just wake up, you know. You're being rather worthless if I may say so."

The worthless and inconsiderate body sticks to what it seems to do best. A bit further up the tunnel splits in two and there is water running down the walls and have eaten away at the rock in places making odd nooks and crannies. The sounds ar gradually coming closer.

The girl grumbles a little and takes a deep sniff through her nose. Left tunnel smells better.
"When in doubt, follow your nose."
She nods solemnly and drags the body into the left tunnel.
