Grisham began to smile when he saw yet another vampire caught in his webs... until the shadow raced towards him, as death came to the dying. He immediately dropped the stones out of reflex, bringing his arms up to defend himself. The shaodws wrapped around his wrists with ease.
It was then that Tynor finally regained complete control of his fear. He pressed a switch on his coat, one that looked much like a button. His was bathed in light, and then he was gone.

Alicia just caught the figure emerging in the corner of her eye before they came shut. The pain raging through her was nauseating and dispite her best efforts made it close to impossible to focus on much around her. But through barely reopened eyes she caught the sudden movements of Tynor, the sudden added light and his disappearance. Though some might be releived in her place she felt no such emotion as pure pain still had its firm grip on her entire form. The stones had fallen to the ground but their light still held her captive with or without their master.
Forcing her pale face to a twisted scowl she let out a pained growl between her clenched teeth as she forced herself to focus her mind and thoughts. Trying to move with every ounce of strength she had left and rip free. She didn't know how long she had before he would return or one like him. There had to be a way out. Right now, she had to find it, see it.
But the web and the searing light held her mercilessly.

A faint glimmering dust would appear in the air, shimmering in the dim light. Filtering through the manor, the dust-like material would gather in one area, a small clearing in the trees, about a quarter of a kilometer from the manor.
The dust would combine in a small sphere, slowly growing at first, but as more and more specks flocked into the clearing, the light quickly expanded, soon almost filling the space. As the last specks of glimmering dust enter the sphere, it explodes outwards, a white shockwave of warmth, hope, and peace, spreading outwards through the whole region, dissipating at the edges, hundreds of kilometers away.
This light would also have been extremely bright, causing a ‘flash-blindness’ effect amongst all those in the city, for a few seconds. In the center point of the shockwave, a single figure stood, shimmering white-blue wings slowly unwrapping themselves from his body, revealing him cloaked and hooded in white garb. The blue stone hilt of his diamond-steel sword would be seen protruding slightly from the edge of his cloak, his light plated boots and chain gloves tinted with a light blue, a freezing aura emanating from them.
A heraldic shield formed on his left forearm, the entire shield ‘s length went from the ground, to his neck, and the width was about same as his body. The shield looked like it was made of sculpted ice that was frosted over so it was opaque, a large cross protruding slightly from the center of the shield. As the shield was completed, an extension that looked somewhat like a white force shield continued on around the shield for a few inches, before disappearing from view. Right when the shield finished forming, an aura erupted at the Guardian’s feet, a white fire that burned up to his chest, and throwing blue sparks into the air.
However, this fire would not burn anyone. Instead of that, you would feel like it was the ice age if one of these sparks hit you, or if you touched the white fire. Of course this would only happen to his enemies. To his friends, it would heal them if they were wounded, replenish their strength if they were weak, and give them hope if they were lost.
K'loth shot towards the manor, gliding gracefully in the air. Landing gently on the grass, he looked up at a strange scene.
A vampire, trapped like a fly in a web.
Shaking his head in amusement, he jumps back into the air drawing his sword with his right hand and drew level with the web. I pity you demon. he murmured, for the vampire was obviously in pain. Slashing the web, he would cut through the strands that had been holding the vampire up, his diamond-steel blade slicing through the steel web like a hot knife through butter.
At the same time, the light from the darts would disappear into K'loth's sword, the crystals gleaming brightly as they absorbed the energy. With the webbing loose, the vampire would fall all the way to the ground outside her manor and K'loth landed softly next to her, kneeling at her side and would press the flat of his sword against her temple, muttering, Paestyl, Vaer ail Vaeli. This would basicly be a enchantation that would heal the vampire's wounds and supress her powers, leaving her without vampiric or demonic powers.

The shadow slammed a hammerlike hand down onto one of the two stones with powerful force. The thing was ground into dust, its light flashing once more before it faded away completely.
That shadow then wrapped around Telomerase, shielding him from the foul lights and the new arrival. The man's perfect eyes narrowed slightly. He had no interest in this being. He had no wish to taste of its blood, nor speak with it. He had wished to speak to the two vampires in private, but now that didn't seem to be an option. Well, should they wish to speak to him, they could seek him out. They were obviously tainted by the animals if they accepted their help.
Telomerase's shadow wrapped around him, dragging him into its depths. That shadow then spiraled downwards, disappearing into the ground.

Alicia was still trying to pull free when the blinding light and the bright winged figure emerged. She closed her eyes and made another push to tear free, weakened by the remaining light.
The next moment it was right by her. It seemed minions of the Heavens and the Hells had suddenly launched upon her this evening. Why now? She fell. A loud slash of the metal wires that held her and she felt the free fall towards the ground take her. She didn't resist it but just braced herself to accept the ground that wasn't too far down.
She landed on one knee, her form bent over and leaning on the other knee. Her bright white clothes slightly torn from the web but her long white leather coat was still intact. Her long white hair hid her face as she remained for a moment, catching her breath.
The searing light faded and instantly she felt her strength returning. A gasp of relief would have come from her lips but she didn't let it. She just remained. waited. What was to come was inevitable and her powers didn't return fast enough to prevent it.
The blade came to her pale skin, parting her silver white hair at the temple as the words were uttered. She had barely any injuries, but the odd scratch was instantly healed leaving only the stain on blood on her white clothes behind. But at the same time the returning vampiric powers were torn from her again.
Her eyes blinked once, and then closed again, a slight frown on her brow where she still remained, bent over on one knee without a word. What did thisone want? So many heads would be severed from their necks when this was over. Security? This Realm couldn't even begin to spell the word. It was pitiful. Hungry. So very hungry.
"And what can I do for you?" Her cold voice spoke as steadily as if she was receiving a lawyer in her office, and the British accent conveyed as much ice as usual.

K'loth wasn't suprised at the monotone voice that the vampire used. A simple thank you will do for now. he said, moving his blade from her temple to her chin, and he would lift her head, looking at her bloodthristy eyes.
Been a long time since you last fed? he asked, removing his blade and sheathing it, his shield disappating as well into the air, leaving a slight chill. Or is it because you just lost a battle that you nearly died over? K'loth turns around and picks up one of the darts that had fallen out of the window. Clever....., he murmured, and tossed the dart at the vampire's feet. Such a small thing. And it could have cost you your life.

"I am sure it would." That same calm, cold voice spoke.
The blade did not lift her face for him to regard for she had now gathered enough breath to stand up and so she did. Moving away from the blade and standing to her full height, tall, proud and arrogant as ever. She shook her hair back from her pale face with as little motion as possible and cast a superior look at the angel down her nose. Her eyes would in fact not seem blood thirsty but rather icy cold in their pale grey gaze, much like the rest of her.
After eying him head to toe without her expression changing the slightest she breathed a patient sigh.
"'Could haves' and 'nearlys' are just a different ways of saying 'failed to'. Now, was there something of significance on your mind or are you merely here to prey on me like the other vultures?"

K'loth merely looked at the vampire, inwardly smiling. My, my, what an agressive woman you are. He took a step back from her and chuckled. To prey on you? Nay dear lady, I have much better tastes than to involve myself with a demon. He rested his hands on the hilt of his sword and continued, smiling, although she would not be able to see his face, as his cloak cast a shadow upon it, No, I had something worse in mind than that when I came. Believe it or not, I felt sorry for you. Now isn't that amusing?
His eyes seemed to flare in the shadow of his hood and he asked, However, since you have so cleverly dicephered that "'Could have' and 'nearly' are just a different way of saying 'failed to'", would you like to try and see what 'succeeded in' means?

Alicia watched the creature before her with unimpressed chill. She remained there for a moment, completely motionless before talking.
"You came, cut me down, drain my vampiric essence only to what... seek a fair fight?"
Her sarcasm was as dry as sand.

K'loth relaxed slightly, and he murmured a phrase under his breath. Instantly, the vampire would feel her powers returning to her. There. he said, and turned away, looked over the estate. So much land put to waste. he remarked, and glanced back at her, shaking his head. A fight? No. It wouldn't even be a challenge at this time when you are so weakened. In the future perhaps. His wings would unfold, and a glowing, dustlike material slowly filled the air around K'loth. Just remember, at this time, you still owe me your life. And I will not forget that.

Alicia remained her marble statue self while he was still facing her but as he turned away to leave her face gradually fell to a frown. Her pale eyes darkening a little in anger. Her arms crossed over her chest as she watched him go. Owe him. An Angel. With a sneer of distaste she quickly turned around and began to walk around the back to head back inside. But for as much as she hated it... he had a point. It earnt her contempt, that was for sure, but she wouldn't forget his face.
