"Sorry, but I'm not allowed to leave these papers behind, and I must have her sign a number of these while in my presence. So, I must speak to her in person. Again, if she is completely uninterested, then I don't need to speak with her at all. I can just move on to the next person on the list and leave her out of this."

She took her feet down from the big wooden desk and stood up. Her eyes glanced to the window once again with a glint of contempt on her expressionless stone face. The longer she left this the more of a scene this was going to brew. There was a potentially volatile encounter brewing in the front yard. She placed some of the papers to one side and pushed back her long flowing pure white hair to behind her shoulders.

The man gave Grisham a look that pretty obviously showed his patience was being tried. He remained quietly as he thought this over.
"What is this concerning?"

"As I said before, this is concerning Cantus buying a company that Lady Alicia was a part of, and we are trying to inform each of our new members of this fact, and ask if they wish to remain or leave, as well as several other things of importance."
Grisham was still smiling, happy as can be.

Alicia slowly turned towards the closed door and then began walking with her usual determined unforgiving steps towards it. Her face was serious and arrogant and the pale skin seemed almost carved in stone in how unable it seemed to change from that expression. Her eyes had no emotion at all, just cold and detached but not without focus as they glanced to her right as she passed through the room to where she had put aside the two daggers. She reached out with her hand and with a silent mental command they came to her and she promptly put them behind her back. She stopped only to pick up the great sword that had also been put aside. She pulled it half out from the sheath and looked at the glistening sharp blade before letting it slide back in. It had already claimed so much of his blood he should by rights be dead by now. She kept it sheathed in her left hand as she opened the door and headed out of the office with those same steps. Enough was enough.

He shifted his weight and pinched the bridge of his nose a little. This man was giving him a headache. Eventually he let out a sigh in giving up.
"Come with me, I'll see what I can do."
With another heavy sigh he made for the door and then the hall again but he didn't bother holding it up.

Grisham gathers his papers and stands, following after the man without complaint, or even a word really. Just a smile.

The man led the way back down the hall towards the main hall in silence where he emerged pretty much just a moment after Alicia that was coming from an opposite corridor with deeply determined steps and that same stone expression on her face, the large sword sheathed and held in her left hand that together with the other was now gloved in white napa leather of the same quality as her white trousers and boots. She didn't seem to notice, or at least pay attention to the man coming from across the hall at first, she headed towards the front door.
"Milady. There is a Mr Tynor here to see you."
Alicia barely flickered a glance in his direction but as he was still facing her from across the room he continued, though her steps had not slowed down and he had precious few seconds before she would turn her back as she headed out the door.
"It is a matter concering Cantus and The Peramon Syndicate."
Just before she had been about to turn, having reached the middle of the main hall she slowed down and stopped without her expression changing in the slightest. She gave the man a cold pale glance for maybe a second or two before her eyes passed to behind him where Grisham would be had he followed, if so they would look straight at him. Cold and without a word, solidly still in a way that was clearly not human, she didn't even seem to blink. The man bowed to her.
"My apologies, Milady." In a few moments he was gone.

"Still as I remember you, Lady Winters."
Grisham smiles and nods his head towards her.
"You may not remember me. I once worked for you in a company that you had decided to terminate. Just one of many faces to you, I'm sure. Anyways, do you have the time to discuss some business? You look a little busy to me."

Alicia didn't move a muscle, she stood just as she had stopped, one hand holding the sword and the other hanging by her side, her weight evenly on both legs and her face that same stone cold as her eyes. After a few silent moments she blinked slowly once which was the only movement to her entire form but as the eyelids opened again the gaze seemed unbroken as if that of a statue. She didn't say a word.

Grisham smiled to himself and held out the papers, one hand holding onto the edge and one underneath for stability.
"Exactly the same, at that. Well, anyways, Peramon was bought by Cantus. Do you still wish to hold any shares or position in the new branch of Cantus? Also, Cantus has shown interest in several other companies under your name. Would you be willing to sell, Lady Winters?"

Alicia's gaze moved, though only slowly, as it eyed him over condescendingly, taking note of the offered papers, until it settled again at his eyes, her expression still unchanged.
"Do rectify the mistake of your invitation and leave." her voice was low and soft but utterly lifeless in its chill.
She remained as did her gaze.

"Oh, I will. After you look through the papers. This is for you, not the other way around, Lady Winters, so if you wish to remain the Ice Queen and kick me out, then by all means do. We'll just have to consider that as you handing over all property to us."
Grisham continues to smile. His eyes seem to flicker for a moment, changing slightly from within.

Alicia didn't blink nor move.
"Whoever sent you is either a charlatan or a fool, I deal with neither. I do not entertain doorknockers nor their Masters." Her voice was that very same tone and utterly unimpressed. Her eyes moved meaningly to the papers. "Have those sent to my lawyers." She was quite obviously not about to take them, she barely even looked at them.

Tynor grinned and nodded happily.
"Of course, Lady Winters. Good day to you."
He waits for her to walk out first, since she is blocking the exit anyways. Or closer to it, as the case may be.

Alicia's cold eyes left Grisham as if she had just glanced at something inanimate and unimportant and now merely part of the furniture as far as she was concerned. She even appeared to consider herself alone as she let her pale gaze fall to her left hand as it brought up the sheathed sword. If she was blocking his exit she took no note of it. The hand held up the sword and her right hand came to grasp the hilt firmly and pulling the shining wide blade from its sheath that was then thrown aside on a side table. Her blank gaze fell on the right one of the closed doors as she reached out and opened it. She took one step up to it till she came to stand in the doorway. Her eyes searched the front yard in no particular hurry for what she knew was there. The sword came to rest for the moment in front of her, held tip down and cutting in to the threshold a little from its weight and keen edge. The blade shone brightly in the still quite bright warm air but the front porch was shaded by the balcony overhead from the orange rays of the early evening sun.
"I suggest you let yourself out through the Conservatory or the Kitchen Mr Tynor." She spoke in a quiet tone that seemed just slightly less cold than before, her eyes not leaving the front yard for a moment. She didn't really care how he got off her property but getting killed in the crossfire could potentially give her some grief from this 'Cantus'.

Grisham nods to her back and smiles.
"Of course, Lady Winters."
Then he pulls the trigger on the gun underneath the papers. The dart quickly cuts through the air, heading straight for Alicia's back. Another three darts follow soon after, one aimed for the base of her neck, another speeding just a little to the left of her and the final one just to the right.
