Jared swallows a big bite of his second breadroll.
Pan looks up straight at Gulak as he looks at her with an unimpressed look on her face.
P "I dunno, 'beggar' seems to suit you fine."
Jared either ignores or doesn't hear Pan's comment and instead leans forwards to Minnow with a big grin.
J "Do I?" He asks and winks at her.

The Minnow chuckles at Pandora.
[Elven] "I don't see you working for it either, missy."
She eyes Jared with a slight grin, and leans forward over her knees to come very close to the man's face. She whispers.
"You, my dearest, sweet love, can call me anything you like."
She blows a kiss at him, then she laughs, leans back in the balancing chair again, and smiles at Tah. She keeps her eyes on him for a little bit, just smiling a little thoughtfully, before she glances at the room again to see what is keeping her brother.

Pandora shoots Minnow a level glare and then looks away at some of the other patrons disinterestedly. Jared, still leaning forwards and keeping his face nice and close, grins a beaming grin. His breath this close smells a bit of ale by now and his eyes are a little glazed but he doesn't appear off his head by any means. J "Now that is not an offer you get every day. I will take you up on that."Though it is now very late in the night the bar does not seem to be about to empty out nor does the parties seem to be calming down, though due to the general state of drunkenness that is progressively getting worse overall the dancing become less fancy and more random movements in or, as it may be, out of pace with the various sources of music. Minnow knows well that the bars and parties most likely will keep going till sunrise which is still a good three-ish hours off... give or take. [Spot checks all around, please. The Minnow laughs softly and stands to have a better look around. Where is Violar?

Taur quickly lost interest in the conversation, not really paying attention to it or the people as a whole. Other than Minnow, but it was hard not to notice her. He too had noticed the long absence of her brother, and wondered where he went off to. He also noticed the man in the cloak steadily approaching the inn. He found him most interesting of all, and it was this man who had caught Taur's attention and held it. He grunted, quietly, and made sure his weapon was within easy reach.

The Minnow glances at the man approaching the inn. He had better not bring trouble. She so did not feel like trouble right now. She smiles and winks at Tah, and turns back to surveying the bar for her brother.

There is no sign of Violar anywhere in the bar.
Pandora turns around as she sees the man approach and eyes him curiously for a moment before sitting back again with a shrug.
Jared's grinning face turns serious and he slowly sits back in his chair, playing with his glass a little.
The man continues to make as straight a line for the White Ship as the drunk bustling crowd outside allows.

Taur continues to watch the man as much as the crowd allows. He set down his mug, a small frown on his youthful face.
He wondered what this man would bring, and if he was even important. There are other people here, after all. A remarkable appearance need not mean a remarkable person.

"Now there's a shadow over the party if I saw one."
Minnow sets her hands on her hips and gives the man in the crowd a matronly frown that would not look out of place on her mother's face. She taps her foot on the floor, more in impatience than in rhythm for a change- though there is still a rhythm to the tapping, because she just cannot help it.
"Did any of you have an appointment with the hangman? Because here he is."

Gulak sneered silently at Pandora, as he grabbed his meal to take a big bite. He kept silent for then. After a while, the party didn't pay attention to him anymore.
This was the moment...
He layed the bones he still carried in his hand on the plate, and reached for his pocket to retrief his letter. Just when he carefully peeled the letter open, he noticed the elf that entered the inn. His eyes whidened, and he exidently dropped the letters.
What Minnow concerned, she would recieve a corriging thud from Gulaks elbow, and an angry, but subtile finger pressed against his lip if she would look to him. He then ducked under the table, and retrieved the letter to read it, trying as much as he could to ignore the elf

The Minnow raises an eyebrow as she finds an elbow being prodded against her arm. She looks down at the man and blinks when he ducks under the table. Then she just starts laughing. And laughing.

Pandora frowns as Gulak dives in under the table and turns in her chair to keep her legs sideways rather than under the table. Jared shakes his head, a little amused, but seems a little more sedate than before. J "Crawling on the floor? I thought you said you weren't a beggar."The man enters the White Ship bar a little way away from them. He quickly glances over the room before heading on through towards the back, plowing through the crowds. [Spots for Minnow and Taur. ]

The Minnow keeps laughing, even as the man passes, but her eyes follow his every move. She calms down while he walks past and ties her headkerchief back over her hair, rolled up to be a bright yellow ribbon. She ties her hair in a thick ponytail and once the man is gone a few steps, she examines the faces of her companions.

[Obadiah from If Truth be told... p.1]
As Obadiah comes down the stairs and through the little back hall of the Hotel he finds the downstairs floor completely filled with feasting people. They are at various stages of drunkenness (though mostly quite advanced) and though mostly Humans there are some Halflings and Dwarves about. Three Dwarves are at the bar shouting incomprehensible orders at an oblivious barmaid. Three Halfling men are dancing on a table each more or less exactly out of pace with any of he different sources of music. Elves are a bit more rare however, save for two of them sitting at a table over by the window where one of them, a rather wild-looking man, is sitting under the table reading something while the other, a rather pretty woman whose laugh is just dying down, ties up her hair. Around her sits three Humans, two men and a woman. The men both look very well-built and strong, one of them with unusual facial tattoos while the woman mostly looks annoyed. The only other Elf in the room is making his way through the room towards the back where Obadiah is coming from. He is dressed entirely in black and looks very serious and oddly sober for this place. No one seems to notice Obadiah and his graceful entrance. The noise down here is really quite loud, laughing, talking, clashing attempts at music, singing, belching... all the usual.

The Elven woman is wearing a long red and yellow striped skirt, a white blouse, and the scarf she has just used to tie up her dark hair with is a bright yellow. Heavy silver earrings are dangling from her ears, and she is wearing bracelets and anklets of the same material. She is on the slightly tall side for an Elven female, but not ridiculously so. The woman's face is rather stern, but she is still smiling, and she is truly rather pretty.
The woman is not standing still. She is swaying her hips and moving her head to the rhythm of some of the music outside. The longsword on her right beats softly against her legs. Upon closer inspection, it appears she is actually very well armed. Besides the longsword there is a crossbow on her left, and a whip rolled up over it. A simple pack stands by her chair, half against the wall, far enough away from the other patrons to not be stolen easily.
Just as Obadiah enters, her face turns to his direction, but after one quick glance she gazes through him rather than at him, as if she expected someone else to come from that door.
