Taur stops when he notices the man, setting the bottom of the Notbora against the ground and watching him. Taur returned the nod, slightly surprised at the man's reaction. He had not thought he would give acknowledgement of any sort.
He glanced at the white cloth. So it was slightly injured. It didn't look to be very serious.
Taur waited in silence until the man either said something or move on before he returned his attention to the Notbora.

Though the man didn't exactly smile something shifted slightly to his expression that gave the impression of him approving of Taur's response.
The horse slowly began to move, continuing out of the stables and passed Taur. The man kept his eyes on him as he passed, just before he turned his eyes away to straight ahead he gave another, this time much slighter, nod. The horse and its master continued on towards the main road at a brisk pace, the horse was bursting with energy it seemed but he didn't appear in much of a hurry.

Taur waited for awhile after the man had started on his way before he smiled, if only slightly. Today had been strange indeed. Then again, haven't all days?
He watched the man a little longer, taking note of the direction he rode in, before picking up the Notbora once more. He began practicing once again.

The man turned right as he came to the main road which would take him due South, he soon picked up the pace to a trott.
Aside from a very gentle breeze picking up as the afternoon grows later all appears still and quiet.

"Heh."
Taur shakes his head. So he too was heading in the direction of the capitol. Somehow, that didn't surprise him.
He swung the Notbora from side to side, turning with the massive weapon. He slammed the hook into the ground and brought the other end upwards. Trying to keep his momentum, he twirls the weapon around to bring the hook portion up, while the blunt end faced downwards. He kept the weapon moving, as it was large enough to be a problem if it stopped.

Nothing much happens, the sound of the insects carry on while the birds gradually quiet down as the sun lowers slowly on the sky.
Quite some time later Kynak suddenly sits up in the carriage with a start and a loudish grunt. One of the horses jump a little and takes a startled step forwards making the carriage move so he lost his balance and had to catch himself from falling backwards again. Another grunt could be heard.

Taur finally stops, almost overbalancing and crashing into the wall of the barn. He was not yet skilled enough...
He leaned against the Notbora and wiped the sweet from his brow, refusing to breath any more rapidly than normal. He drew a deep breathe into his lungs through his mouth, and released it through his nose, trying to calm his body. He frowned when he noticed that Kynak was awake. If he thought the day was interesting before...

Kynak got himself down from the carriage in a still slightly groggy and not quite graceul way. As he got to the ground he gave the cart a glare as he rubbed his neck. One of the horses seemed almost to feel accused and turned its head towards him with a curious but blank look.
"WHAH!" Kynak made a fast step towards the horse throwing his hands out as if trying to scare it. And so he did. The horse jumped in the opposite direction forgetting his other partner in labour was there and that they were still tied to the carriage. A rustling confusion ensued with both horses stepping on eachother's feet and one of the branches of the carriage dangerously close to snapping.
Kynak didn't seem to care and with a surly look just turned around and brushed off his one clean shoulder as he headed roughly in the direction of Taur.

Taur frowns as he watches Kynak and the horses. It didn't surprise him that Kynak could scare them so easily. There were times when Kynak scared him. Others sometimes found his antics entertaining. He found them frightening and more than a little unsettling.
Of course, it didn't help that this madman seemed to regard him as a close friend. He still wondered, to this day, what encouraged that line of thought. Then again, he did not wish to know exactly how Kynak made any line of thought.
He waited in silence, too tired to really continue practicing too much, or to run away at top speed.

Kynak raised an eyebrow at Taur and eyed him over as he passed him, heading in what seemed a random direction.
"You done ploughing for today then, Taur?" His voice was the usual gruff and he didn't stop as he was passing by.

Taur was hard pressed to think exactly how to respond to that one. He just kind of stood there, a stunned expression on his face as he watched Kynak walk by. He slowly blinked and shook his head, frowning. How does one respond to a question like that?

Kynak shrugged slightly and continued on quite blazé about Taur's reaction. He stopped and looked around as if searching for something impatiently. He muttered something under his breath.
"...can't even get a decent kip... sun all beating... where the hells have we stopped now... is there no well or anything in this wretched pit..."
He seemed to come to some decision and turned towards the main road.

Taur tilted his head to the left, his hand running through the braid that was currently resting on his shoulder. He wondered what kind of problems they would have if Kynak wandered off. It would likely delay their trip to the capital.
"Kynak."
He points at the horses, noting that they were still a little confused.
"Water in flasks. You have one."
He wondered if this was at all important to the man with the sick spirit...

Kynak stops and turns his head just enough to catch where Taur is pointing. He raises a finger in the air as if a good point had been made and ran a hand through his unruly hair as he turns and moves back towards the carriage again. He rummages around a bit, causing a slight mess and grabs a flask and then returns again for the main road. He takes a long drink from the water but doesn't wipe his mouth afterwards.

Taur shakes his head and sighs, his braid moving from side to side with his head as he frowned at Kynak. The man was strange.
"Where you go?"
He really didn't want any more delays, and he knew that Kynak would be just that if he wandered off.
