The passage is not so much a passage anymore as a sort of elongated gap in the rock. It is narrower and rough all around. It slopes more strongly upwards and continuing on is more light climbing than walking but the countless nooks and crannies often provide suitable-ish footholds. The air is a bit fresher now.
After about two more hours, now definitely tired and hungry she reaches what seems to be a bit more of an open area, judging by the way the sound of dripping water echoes gently around her. There is no other light and no other sounds but the rockface here is wetter and as she continues out through the passage it feels noticeably colder.

Ayadinlani gags, lets the man down, and lets some water drip into her hand. She tastes a little of it and, should it taste alright, she will drink thirstily, letting the water flow down to cool her burning throat. So thirsty... so tired... So tired... Sleep. Sleep here. Sleep and forget. I will wake up and I will be you. No, no. No, no. You must sleep. Close your eyes. Lie down. Not here. Not just here, not where it is cold and wet. Come, come. She hoists the man up again. Not much further. Only until she can find a suitable place to sleep. Rest.

The water tastes fine, though quite rich in minerals and has a strong metal-ey flavour.
The area is harshly shaped hand difficult to move around in. There seems to be fomations in the rock in pillars of sorts in no particular pattern. One of them has quite a noticeable trickle of water flowing down it all around. Here and there are water puddles, some quite deep while others are not. There are some spiked formations here and there jutting up from the surface she walks on, some almost waist height while others much smaller. The are seems quite big as she continues on and the irregular shape of it makes it difficult to discern any further tunnels from the area itself.

This is a suitable place. Oh I suppose. Can't you fnd anything a little drier? A little... cosier? No. No, there's nothing. There is nothing. There is cavern. Oh well fine, if you say so. Ayadinlani sits in a dry nook in the wall. She carefully puts the man down beside her, and checks the bandages. They will need refreshing. Why? Because he might die. So? That's not a reason/ Fine, I'll do it. She nurses the man as best she can, then she shoves her jacket under his head for a pillow again, and searches her bag for a blanket. You have no blanket, you idiot. Yes I do. You forgot to buy it. That was you. There is no blanket. Ayadinlani growls at nothing in particular. They must have taken it. They took it, they took it, they took it! He needs a blanket. I know. Oh yes, you're such an accomplished little nurse now. Shut up. Ayadinlani removes her dress. What are you doing? She removes her blouse. What are you doing, stupid girl? She puts them both over the sick man, covering him thus as best she can. You are naked! Look at yourself! No, I'm not. I have underwear. Which you thought unimportant to buy. Oh fine, be that way about it. The girl smiles, curls up, and folds her wings around her. Her ears open for trouble, she soon falls into a slumber.

Ayadinlani falls asleep to the sound of dripping water on stone and more water from here and there around her.
Some time later, she is suddenly awoken by a loud gasp from right next to her, the sound pierces the silence and causes a slight echo around her and is then followed by deep, heavy, slightly irregular and laboured breaths. It is impossible to say how long she has been asleep since the darkness is equally dark, but she does feel a bit more rested though her sleeping position was anything but comfortable.

Ayadinlani opens her eyes and glances at the dark beside her. She pokes the dark a little.

The Dark is shivering and twitches a little at the pokes and the breaths catch a little. It would appear the limp body is less limp.

Ayadinlani blinks. What is that? Something there. She rolls to the side to be facing the Dark and pokes it again.
"Hello. Who are you?"
She reaches out a hand, searches for a face, and strokes it.

The man is still shivering and shaking and breathing sharp irregular breaths. As she speaks she can hear the sound of his breaths a little more directly as if he turned his face towards her suddenly. His face is not hard to find but as her hands fall on the skin he cries out and recoils. The sound echoes in several directions.

Ayadinlani starts at the scream, pulls her hand back, and follows up with a terrified shriek of her own. She sounds like a hunted rabbit.
"Get away- get away- I didn't do it! I didn't I didn't I didn't..."
Do what? But she sobs hysterically and does not answer her own question. She shakes all over and holds herself, cold in only her underwear.
[Celestial] "Calm down. Calm down. There's nothing wrong..."

The man's cry suddenly cuts short and he falls quiet as she sobs and talks. His breaths seem to calm down gradually as he waits for her to calm a little before he speaks. His voice is hushed and sore.
"Do what?"
He fails to stifle a cough.

"Wrong."
Ayadinlani peers at the darkness from between her fingers.
"Nothing wrong. Who are you?"

"Oh."
He falls quiet for a while, contemplating her question.
"I-uh..." There is the faint sound of fingers scratching a head, and then he audibly winces. "Othin..." He sounds a bit uncertain. "Who are you?"
There is the sound of a sudden shuffle from his direction and his voice is suddenly alarmed.
"Where is Gabriel?!"

"Are you okay, Othin? Are you thirsty?"
She crawls a little closer to him and starts feeling for the bandages.
"Ayadinlani. Who is Gabriel?"

"Gabriel!?" He calls out with no reply but the echo and Othin lets out a pained sigh.
"He's a boy..."
He shuffles a bit again, scraping on the dirty stone floor. Winces and sighs again defeatedly as if giving up.
"Yes." He admits sadly.
