"Ruuuunnn...!!!"
That was the only voice that haunted trough his mind at the moment. And he was running, as fast as he could, north, out of the suburbs, away from Aaron, away from that Sare, away from everything. Strangely, Jillian didn't even think about running. He though about his history lessons, and how the medieval people thought that the voice in your head was actually God guiding you. Was God guiding him now? If he did, he was thankfull for him. Without this instinct, he probably hadn't lived by now. Where was he actually?.
It was just then, that he stopped running, and took a chance to look around. His eyes whidened, and he watched every step he took, as he remained completely silence. Around them, a beauty untold unfolded in every direction. The trees, the undergrowth, the small streams flowing in between the roots. He found undiscovered beauty, though it came strangely familliar to him. As he climbed up the roots of one of the largest trees in the area, the familiarity came to apear to him. He kneeled down at the sterm, and wrapped his arm as far around the tree as he could. With his cheek agains the bark, he stared blankely in the distance from behind his thin glassed glasses. A whisper passed his lips, as if he didn't want someone, or something to hear him.
"Treason forest!"

The forest was quiet. The animals either sleeping or hunting. The night had fallen and only a couple of noctornal birds and owls broke the silence a woman long sounght for. This woman was currently laying down upon the gnarled tree limb of an old willow tree, that was decaying from the mites the constantly gnawed at it's innards. Her eyes were closed, and her long flaming mane of hair was loosened. The half-elven womans mind was else where as her mind remained drifting in the gentle breeze's. Her body was covered simply by a halter that covered her breasts and a pair of white pants. Her jacket was laying carelessly upon the ground.
The womans name? Her name was Tashikama Naïlo. And she barely noticed when the man stumbled so clumsily into the woods. That was until she heard the whisper, so clear to her elven ears, pass his lips. A eye cocked open slightly. Moving a leg so that it hung over the edge of the branch, her boot heel clearly in his sight now. "Where do you think you are? Wonderland?" A smirk passed her lips, as she turned her head sideways, so she could see the human below her.

Jillian could have jumped twice his length, as much as the leg, that suddenly apeared in his line of view, startled him. He released the tree, and scurried past the tree, out of view of the... thing the leg belonged to.
He closed his eyes, and listened to his loud breathing, as his hands gripped firmly at the bark. He opened his eyes, as the female voice came to his ears. A selfmocking smile apeared on his face.
"Wonder... heh, more like Natures Hell!"
It was only now he realised the nature of the leg, in wich it didn't look monstrous at all. He scurried back past the tree a little, and carefully looked up in the tree, to the Halfelf sitting there.
"You... you aren't going to eat me, right?"

Laughter rang out through the forest, startling a couple nearby birds which took off with annoyed squawks. Tasha brought herself to a sitting position and cocked her head sideways at him, a brow arched upward. "Eat...?" She laughed once again as the simply reiterating of the words caused more mirth.
Swinging her leg over the side of the branch so she could jump down, she landed quite easily on her feet, even though she was probably about seven feet up. Leaning down she grabbed her jacket, speaking as she did so. "No way, I'm no cannibal! I'm half-human my dear. Now where was the fire huh? You ran into this place pretty fast. Isn't this place considered cursed by those who live in that city?"

"W... I.. euh"
Jullian scratched the back of his head, in a speechless moment. Though he visibly relaxed more, he did step back nervously as the woman came setting down.
"What about the Dragons? And the Drow? They protect this place, don't they?"
Sweat dripped from his face. His glasses slit down his nosebridge, but quickly returned to their former place by Jullian's finger.
"Hu... human? Are you... you are a half-dryad, aren't you?"
A breaking branch reveiled his edge of alertness, as Jullian jumped up, turned around, and clenched against the tree's bark, gazing in the direction the sound came from.
"No th... that's not possible. Dryads don't mix. With humans, that is."
This wasn't aimed for Tashikama at all. It was a soft mutter, in a strange attempt to correct himself.

Tasha's arms crossed over her chest, a brow arched in amusement. Her long hair was swirling around her face in fiery waves. "Dragons? They are further in the forest. Much further. They are near the mountains and the same with the Drow. They dwell in dark caves." She shrugged her shoulders slightly, one hand moving to push away her long hair.
Pursing her lips, Tasha grabbed her pack, took out a hair tie. The half-elf raked her fingers through her hair before she put it into a ponytail. She stopped her actions when he asked if she has half- dryad. With a laugh, Tasha shook her head.
"Far from it! See these ears? She pointed to the slight point at the top. "The cheekbones and build? No I'm a half-elf. Nothing magical or faerie like with me."

Jillian pushed away from the tree once more. He took off his glasses, making his eyes look undeveloped and small, as the enlargment the strong glasses gave his eyes, came normal to Jillian apearance trough the years.
"Yes, uhmm... Sorry, I didn't see. You see my glasses, they're...."
He looked at his glasses. They where clouded. That's why he saw only a blur of the Half Elf. He cleaned them in his shirt, and peered his eyes to study them. A long crack ran over the glass. Jillian frowned.
"ahh, great! That's just... just great!"
He moved his glasses back on his nose. It wasn't too bad, he could still look trough it. He sat down on the roots, and leaned against the trees. Calmly, he gazed into the distance. The forest was enchanting. It couldn't possibly be that there was nothing magical about it.
It took a few minutes before the silence was broken. He turned his head to look at the Half Elf.
"I'm Jullian. I... I write mystery novels."
That wasn't really important information. He turned his head back to gaze into the wild land, but it wasn't long before he once again broke the silence.
"You know... you are still the first Half Elf I ever met in my life."

With her hair up in it's usual style, her long jacket on, she felt comfortable talking to this man. Apparently from a well to do family from the fright of being near danger. All the residents of the lower city are used to having the threat of death hang over their head. Sitting down upon the nearest stump, Tasha smiled at Julian in a superior fashion.
"Well, hello Jullian. My name is Tashikama Naïlo. Don't even bother to try and pronounce the last name. No human can really do it right." Her smile brimed with false sweetness.
"I'm sure you'll need an escort back to the city? Yes? I'm guessing someone... or something was chasing you out here. It doesn't surprise me. I'm a skilled fighter, so if you with me you don't need to worry."
Not being the kind of person to stay in one place for long, she now stood, stretching her arms out, over her head. "I need to go get some alchol in my system anyway. I've had enough of nature."

Judging from the puzzled look on Jullian's face, it took a moment to get the message trough to him. When it did, he smiled. She sounded nice, but he didn't know what to trust anymore.
"That would be awesome... nice! But I'll keep an eye on you. I've had enough Demons for one day."
The sentence came remarkably effortless, and while his one hand clearly shoved his glasses back from the point to the bridge of his nose, his other hand almost invisably reached for his gun, placing his hand comfortingly on it's grip. His hand was still shivering, and Jillian didn't even seem to notice his hand being there.
"I mean, I already got four... eyes, I mean!"
He grinned at the Halfelf, and moved his both hands to the ground to push himself up, and then stretched widely. He then turned around to Tashikama, showing a thumb-up with his gloved hand.
"All set. Oh.. do you mind if we go around Darknight's Tower district?"
He moved his hands in his pockets, and his eyes trailed to the ground. Softly, he muttered.
"Far around..."
