Okay. This is a simple process. Read the rules, follow what they say and you won't get in trouble.
1. Trolling
Trolling is defined as any post intended to annoy and provoke users or reduce the quality of a thread. It includes but is not limited to the following:
Being OOC in an IC thread.
Asking obviously stupid questions.
Posting nonsense, ALL CAPS, unreadable formatting, excessive pictures, excessive 1337, etc
Making no attempt whatsoever to spell correctly.
Spamming
Impersonating other users.
2. Flaming
Flaming is defined as threats or insults to other users. It includes but is not limited to:
Harassment
Direct insults (You idiot; [insert beliefs] are retarded; etc)
Threats (I'm going to hack you)
Libel (Saying things false or unproven to hurt another person's character.)
3. Offensive posting
Offensive posts are defined as posts intended to offend others. It includes but is not limited to:
Posting links to adult, hate-speech, or other potentially offensive sites without clear warning
Excessively using slurs of any kind (black person, etc) in OOC.
Graphic descriptions of sexuality, in role-play Gore/Sexuality for OOC.
Posting pictures which convey any of the above.
4. Illegal
Illegal activities are those that break the law. This includes but is not limited to:
Linking to illegal websites/posting illegal pictures.
Spreading personal info without permission.
Passing links or discussing how to use ROMs, warez, cracks, p2p networks, and other illegal programs.
Otherwise violating copyrights, such as by stealing art, stories, or characters and not giving credit or--worse-taking credit yourself.
Discussion methods of cheating in online games.
Bandwidth theft--direct linking to sites without permission. (If a direct link, for a picture, is needed please save the picture to a JPEG file, and go to "http://www.imageshack.us" and upload the file. They'll give you a direct link at the bottom of the page.)
5. Spam
Spam is defined as useless or excessive posts. It includes but is not limited to:
Posting a thread or a post multiple times.
Posts with no content.
Posting off-topic text or images.
Posting very large pictures.
Posting a lot of text that amounts to absolutely nothing.
Flooding.
6. Munching
Munching is another word for cheating or being cheap in RP. It includes but is not limited to:
Giving your characters excessive power, invincibility, etc
Metagaming (use of OOC info to affect IC activities in any way)
Making your character's power levels far above those acceptable for the RP you are involved with.
If at any time you need clarification or help with role playing, speak to the creator of the thread or a staff member. Players may complain to staff members if you excessively 'munch out', and appropriate action may be taken.
7. Exploiting Bugs
If there is a problem or error in the coding, passwords, or functions of the forums, do not abuse it. Report any errors to the staff via PMs and the user input section.
8. Avatars, usernames, and signatures
Avatars and signatures may not violate any of the above rules.
Be reasonable with your signature, don’t make it larger then need be.
Usernames are not to contain offensive language.
9. Arguments
In case a argument insures, to refrain from other users getting headaches please take it to private messaging or a massager of some kind
If no decision can be reached then bring forth one of the moderating, administrative staff to make the final dession, if your argument is with a staff member then bring in another.
