[glow=black,2,300]To tell you the truth.... I'm really intimadated. I'm worried about screwing up! O.O for the love of the gods I need some grade A help. I like the idea of a magic user. Maybe Elven, though this I'm unsure of.... Damn, guy's I'm so new to the actual D&D experance! -crawls under a rock with embaressment- [/glow] Hey Calli-sweetness! Don't worry! Every player was new at one point, hells I'm not even that experienced myself. I still heavily rely on my books and have yet to reach those scary levels of those that seem to know most of it by heart! Advanced D&D (or AD&D as it can sometimes be referred to) is the same as version 2. It is older than the version I use and to be honest that version is more complicated (it was heavily simplified for version 3.0 and 3.5). But don't worry. I have the books we need and as a DM I will advise you on anything you want. There is also the D&D Reference document (which is 3.5 as well) in my sig that has all the basic player information you need. D&D books are expensive and I don't expect you all to go out and buy everything. Should you want to anyway I recommend you get The Player's Handbook Core Rulebook version 3.5 first. It has everything you need! But, like I said, it's not a requirement. I will hold your hand (and anyone else's who wants me to) to build your character and soon you'll realise it's not so bad. Whatever you don't know, just ask. I'm here to help.

sorry for being... *checks his wrist in a clock waching gesture* ...really absent. I would still like to reply Elanorîn: I don't play D&D, or AD&D, or something, but a fully different system, so my knowledge of D&D dicing is minimal. And for not noticing Calli was even here... *jumps in arms and hugs*
