Did you know... became a tradition on certain RPG forums I am on. It works like this: you type 'did you know...' as the first line of your post, and then work down a list of knowabouts of your RPG career, that you think are interresting. This is just a test to see who are still active, and a fun way to share facts.

I'll start:

Did you know...

...that Aaron was really my first character on the RPGhost servers? (CC, TK, Realms)

...that his original name was Arobar?

...that this originated from a councilor from the game Morrowind?

...that he was killed by my then n00by fighting skill?

...that it was only then that I created Larry, and that it still looks like my main character, because it is my favourite?

...that the first day I started on the keep, I met the characters Calli and Kittie, who are still with us today?

...that it really felt like a 'group', and that some members of that group just 'disapeared'?

...that it makes me think back of the good old days?

[Manifus Alcantar]

Did you know...

...that the name Manifus Alcantar came from carefully pulling words apart and putting random things together, with the aid of a friend? The first thing to come out of this method was Manifold Keagent (the friend suggested the last name, which I wasn't happy with. The first was a twist of "manipulation"). I then had an idea and fiddle with it some more, making it Manifus Alcantar. Alcantar mixes the words Cantar (which means "Song" in Latin, as does Cantus) and All. Thus, "Manipulation" "All Song".

...Manifus was made after observing the board for a bit? Otherwise, he was a complete spur of the moment character, made as I typed him.

...Feyr and Kadjay are the oldest of the characters that have been posted under the Manifus account, holding an age of several months? Most of the others are like Manifus in that they were born as I typed them.

Edit: I put Neverborn up, and he is far older than Feyr or Kadjay, a character with several years under his belt and a villian in one of my D&D campaigns.

Did you know....


...that Kittie was my first ever Anthro Feline character to be made. i was scared to make one years ago, not knowing enough about them to really construct one, so i braved it and did it.

...that was my second character to appear on TK and the first room i entered in after making Kittie i met bryer and it became instant love.

...that Vigilance was my first ever character hence her powerfull nature. She has been changed over 200 times to what race she was (when i was a wee n00b) she ranged from humans and angels to vampires demonic biengs and even death.

...that Vigilance has only EVER had one partner, (james character years ago) after meeting him she never defied her feelings for him, untill recently >>;; also she never actually told him she loved him, jsut teased him and chewed on his neck often.

...that my first role playing experience was jsut before x-mas around 5-6 years ago, taking place on msn chats. i started on normal chat rooms then i saw the room names and descriptions and i entered one to watch, and evver since then i have role played.

...that i have only really down forum role playing atleast 3 times, including this forum.

...that ever since i started role paly my style and out look on life changed radically. my writing skills hit 100% i used to be fully dyslexic, but being capture in to role palying tis helped me gain confodence and pride in what i do, and also made my dyslexia nearly fade from existance!

...that the first female player i felt close to was calli and she helped kittie alot as did bryer. through calli i met some great people like alrry and sakuris and suchly.

...that kittie used to be all demonic anthro feline, then switched angelic then became both?

...that she then was vampiric on top of that

..that vigilance removed vampirism from kittie on many occasions.

...That if i hadn't met Bryer i would never have found one of my most trusted friends and soul mates of all time? (good old wes turning the charm on )

... that without those close to me kittie would ahve been killed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back! O.O;;

..That even though kittie seems to be the bouncy huggable insanely crazy and happy anthro feline of all time, shes bee raped beaten captured and tortured countless times, Bryer and her friends though kept her the way she was and is today!

...That she got taken in to slavery by DaekarRathi who also enslaved callie, but calli was doing a secret undercover operation of her own to get kittie out and protect her. (whilst bryer was away DR was a guardian but kinda turned pervy)

...that kittie left bryer for him briefly then realised her heart was still for bryer, and she tried to get back and was left to cry in chains on a cold floor, unable to see an d touch the love she wanted so badly.

.... that as a conciquence of that i preformed my first god moding, i simple wiped kitties head clean, wiped the profile back to how it was and ignored DR and everything he had done. as did bryer.

...if i didnt do that kittie would still be a slave today and without those who lover her

...that Vigilance had a sister named Vengeance?! even she didnt know!

...that i have logs of every profile i have ever created and there are 1245 in total?

...that i'm still creating as you speak?!

Did you know...

...that Elanorîn was thrown together in about a couple of minutes upon filling in the registration on CC though not all of her history was put up immediately.

...that Elan hasn't really changed at all since then as far as her character goes.

...Elan was thrown together by mixing three other characters I have; one I play in D&D and two from stories I have written.

...I made her to try and sate my RP hunger awakened fom my tabletop game. Once a week just isn't enough.

...the name was taken from one of my story characters, an Elf (not surprisingly) and it is Quenya for 'Maid Crowned with Star and Sun'.

...Elanorîn was my first character I created for any form of play (as the one from my D&D game she was partly based on was given to me) and is still my main and clear favourite.

...I decided to only give her one very specific prejudice from the word go which was against slavery.

...it was pure coincidence, though not without a certain irony, she went and fell in love with Masivyr to whom slavery is the only form of relationship.

...Elan would not be around still if it wasn't for Angel Crawford her best friend and sister of sorts.

...she proved me utterly wrong in thinking playing a Good alignment was boring.

...that even if her picture has changed, she hasn't and as soon as I dare the old piccy will be back as that is still the way she looks and is in my mind. (Sorry Justy).

...that even though she has finally submitted to Cythis and lives with him as his slave quite happily she will never get over Masivyr. Ever. Nor will she ever consider her collar as anything but a prison.

...that despite her temper and self-sacrificing attitude she has had surprisingly few life-threatening encounters.

...that the few she has had has been almost exclusively random. >.>

...that she can be dreadfully embarassing to play with her lack of conversational grace. ;D

...that she seems to attract Vampires like flies to a light. Must be something in her blood. >.>;

...that the longest continuous session I have had on CC was with Elanorîn and it lasted a whole 20 hours! ;D

...that I slept for almost 24 hours after that.

...that I should really get back to work.

...Calli was my first ever roleplaying character


... I got her name by taking the first five letters out of my aim screen name (CALLIcokitten92)

... She was a human assassin of 16 when I first made her


... Calli was once a crybaby and far from a strong warrior


... She randomly ran into Kittie and Bryer on her third day of roleplay


... Her soul mate Sakuris was met on the fourth


... They were with each other for over a year


... Calli somehow morphed into a half demon through much fiddling


... Her first picture was of Rikku from FFX-2


... Calli is my favorite name to this date and will be the name of my first born girl! ;D

Did you know...

...That my first ever rp character was a vampire, by the name of Megz, whom as a newbie was not without her flaws and eventually got deleted, thank the goddess!

...my next character was one called Mistakes!

...Mistakes has three personalities, and if in the mood three heads! (Jarnet, Mitsy and Cetro!)

...Mistakes became my favourite for a long time until Cradle came along.

...CradleRobber turned a year in january! w00

...The Robber is my absolute favourite character, with awfully gruesome extras to her.

...CradleRobber doesnt often remain un ailed, and is nearly always under attack.

...Cradle was based about the picture strangely enough.

...it is very late!
